Can any 1 help me to understand Tor Browser, is it safe to use this browser?

Basically, safety depends on your use.

Tor is nothing spl. It is just a normal browser with FireFox engine and has proxy by default. You can achieve te same in other browsers too.

I have used tor browser before. Its pretty safe if you are security freak.
Its most important use is to access the "dark net" where many illegal sites operate.
Used it for a few weeks and download some epic vids -but then lost interest as i was not willing to buy drugs nor guns online. So tor was left unattended.

For browsing www, aka , world wide web, its damn slow and undesired.

As far as security is concerned- what someone can possibly steal from my laptop eh? Unless he's after some ugly porn. Ha ha.
