Over the next few days, I will be posting strategies to control and limit the use of porn. I will also be maintaining an index of usernames with the number of days they have gone without PMO (Porn Masturbation Orgasm). Lets help each other get over this habit and gain back our lives.

well said pinkman. I am only trying to help the other half of people who are on this forum who do not feel at peace with themselves. Unless you realize there is a problem, there is no way to fix it. If you feel you are quite comfortable with what you do today, please continue doing what you are doing. There is no need to change.

SandeepPoonam, I wish it were that easy . Try it out and let us know if that works. If it does, then others could follow it as an effective method.

s0rdfish, my notion is to help others and create a competitive atmosphere for others to participate and help themselves too. A good healthy competition can do wonders.

It is often a mistake for you to feel too guilty and be too harsh on yourself. You are only doing what our brains are programmed to do, to binge on things.

During the stone age, cavemen binged on their catch because food was scarce and they could not catch a prey everytime they went out to hunt. So our brains evolved to binge on food. In this age and era, food is as easy as a walk down the street. But our brains have not adapted. Hence we continue to binge and obesity has increased. A question which struck me a lot in the above video series is "How many obese cavemen can you find?".

Porn addiction is no different. Human's basic need is to reproduce so that they could spread their genes over multiple generations. During the stone age, cavemen did not meet a few thousand women like what we do in our virtual world of high speed internet. We binge at every possible occasion to spread our genes (although virtually) and that has caused an increased porn usage and the vicious cycle began.

I went 15 days without PMO, but binged. I feel terrible, but I am more confident now that I can get over my addiction.

But at the end of those 15 days the difference was blatantly noticeable.
1. I felt more energetic because I slept better.
2. People around me felt I was happier and I got comments from both men and women that I was different in a positive way.
3. I had morning woods every single morning.
4. My voice was deeper and thicker.
5. I could look at people in the eye when I spoke to them.
6. Suddenly I had lots of time to do other things like learn music among other things.
7. I had time to workout and felt healthier.
8. When I had erections, my penis was definitely bigger. Noticeably bigger. (I am not kidding).
9. I had time to read, after God know how many years. I am reading books on personality development. But firstly, I was surprised at how bad my reading speed and focus had deteriorated. I am making an effort to improve both.
10. I socialized much better.
11. My mind was not clouded and filled with guilt. I could get out of home and go meet people.
12. I felt at peace with myself.
13. Last but not least, my self esteem was much higher. I felt worthy again. I felt I could achieve more in life.

You only live once guys. Life is too precious to be wasted in front of a computer all alone.
